Her small hands shoved into her navy blue coat, her heels walked along the cement path, her silvery white hair illuminating the light of the moon as her heels clicked against the ground. That day had been a difficult one for her, the NSA agent having come into contact with her previous employer, her previous lover, a man she was so desperately trying to forget. She hated him, despised him, cursed everything that he stood for — And yet all she seemed to think about that day were those ice blue eyes of his, those irises that always made her weak at the knees.
It wasn’t in her character to get so wrapped up in emotions, her work usually the only thing on her mind, the first priority. But at that moment, every single thing reminded her of Buddy Pine.
“Damn it…” she mumbled under her breath, the woman stopping in her tracks as she leaned against a nearby brick wall, glancing down at the ground as she tried to gain her composure. Whether she was alone, or if the street was occupied, she was unsure. But she just needed to clear her head.
